Coaching Preparation:
(When entering a coaching process it is helpful to reflect on some points beforehand in order to be clear on aims and expectations. Here are some questions:)
Coaching Topic:
How/why did you decide on a coaching, what are some of your reasons behind this?
What are the topics you’d like to work on?
Did you experience a specific situation which made it clear to you that you wanted
to start the coaching? Can you think of an example to illustrate your coaching topic?
Coaching Aim:
What is your aim for his coaching? What do you wish to achieve? Why are you
investing the time and effort, what is your purpose and real interest in this
process?
What will change after the coaching? How will you know that you have been
successful? How will this change effect you and your working situation?
What do you wish to learn about yourself? What do you wish to handle differently
in the future? What changes do your wish to achieve?
Who in your professional and private environment will be affected by the changes?
What other effects can you envision?
Did you receive feedback from other people supporting your coaching topics?
Benefits and possible roadblocks:
Which benefits will you experience from a successful coaching process?
What advantages can you see for yourself and others if you put the findings from
this coaching into practise?
What are some of the difficulties you might encounter? What can you prepare for
and how do you want to handle this?
Anything else you should take into consideration?
Other points:
What else do you want to mention at the beginning of the coaching? What else might be important to reflect upon as a preparation for the coaching?
