Coaching

The role of coaching is to provoke and develop a form of self reflection so as to gain new perspectives and insights that can lead to different ways of tackling problems. Thus one increases the possible ways of dealing successfully with different situations. Coaching can help to tackle old problems in new ways, can encourage you taking on a task that you thought in the past were difficult or not possible.

Coaching is a wonderful approach to discuss and develop ways of tackling individual topics. It is a very effective method where we can work both individually and purposefully.

In my opinion the most important element of the coaching process is to encounter people and their inner world of emotions with respect and curiosity.

Reasons/causes that can lead to coaching:
New tasks and responsibilities associated with management and leadership
Purposeful development of specific skills
Job related and private decisions
Individual consultation on leadership situations and challenges
Intercultural topics

The first step of the coaching process is a conversation between myself and a potential client so that we can get to know each other and the client has an understanding of how I work, This first conversation (free of charge)can serve as a basis for the decision whether we should work together.

At the start of the coaching process we clarify the topic and the aims of the process, we will discuss the number of sessions, the dates, methods and thus we can agree a contract between us for the sessions.
